The Math Master Challenge!!!
Each student in grade three has been challenged by DAN the Bee to master all basic addition, subtraction, and even multiplication facts by the end of the school year.
Project Abstract: This project will focus on effective instruction of the Mathematics curriculum for grade three. Grade three teachers will collaborate to develop a variety of teaching and learning aids to meet the needs of all students. This includes not only differentiated instruction at grade level but also modification, accommodation, and enrichment. The project will include pre-assessement, mid-assessment, and post-assessment. Students will be grouped according to ability and learning style. Formative assessment will allow for regrouping based on student needs.
